Volunteer Action for Peace
is a UK based charity which works towards a society of justice, peace and human solidarity.
VAP operates through a network of partner organisations in more than 80 countries worldwide.
Our Activities:
- We organise a programme of short term international voluntary projects in the UK during the Summer months where we host international volunteers.
- We place volunteers in similar projects organised by a vast network of partner organisations in more than 80 countries in 6 continents.
- To apply for a project click here or select "Projects Database" on the left menu.

Euro-Latin American project on discrimination
If you are interested in the issues of Discrimination and young people's participation in the construction of peace and democracy, please contact us. We are looking for two persons interested in joining a 7 months long project that will include a 10 day training seminar in Argentina in April 2009, the creation and application of a workshop on those issues to be presented during our Summer Programme in the UK and the participation on an evaluation seminar in the Netherlands in November 2009.
